Cramps!

I have had constant cramps for the past ten weeks.
I found out I was pregnant about three weeks ago and that I am carrying twins three days ago. right now I am 14 weeks. I keep hoping that I will get to the second trimester relief and my body will stop protesting the pregnancy so harshly but so far I feel as if I am having terrible period cramps all the time!
My tummy and hips and legs and back are killing me...
Like the lower half of my body is trying to separate from the upper half. Anyone else experiencing this or experienced this with a multiple pregnancy?
I remember some cramps with my first son but they went away at about 11 weeks and didn't really come back until week 35.
Whats happening?
Should I be harrassing my Dr. to take a look at me or should I just suck it up like the nurse practitioner will surely tell me?

" Hi, I am 26 weeks with twins and unfortunately have had cramps ever since I was PG. Sometimes they are bad and others not as bad. I find that if I am more active during the day they are less, but still have them every night when I get settled for the evening. Good luck and congrats on the twins. "

" Thanks all.
I am finding that the more active I am during the day the worse the cramps are at the end of the day.
I am only five feet tall so i guess it makes sense that I'll be doing a lot of stretching,( my tummy will enter the room two minutes before I do).
Ugh, but all worth it in the end. "
