I just found out I am pregnant and the doctor meassured my HCG level...at 16 days post ovulation it was 197. Does this sound right for twins? I have always read normally at 18 DPO for a singleton 70 is normal and 200 is normal for twins. Anyone else out there think I am having twins?? what were your HCG Levels if you know? Thanks! PS-I am having an ultrasound in 2 weeks but I just can't wait :)

They never let me know what my HCG level was but at eight weeks two babies showed up on the utlrasound and I was twice as sick with them.

My hcg level was a 725. They said they were pretty sure it was multiples but wouldn't be positive until the u/s. Sure enough 4 weeks later we found out we were having twins. Good luck to you!

I went in at 6 weeks and the doc did a prego test. she came back and said, "wow, your very pregnant. Lets see whats going on in there." she did a transvaginal ultrasound on the spot and there were the twinkies. That was four years ago this holiday season. I got pregnant for years ago last weekend.

At that time my HCG was more like 1,500, but you never know. You just have to wait for the ultrasound.

My HCG level was at 250 and the doctor had told me singles are usually 50 to 100 and therefore she said for sure you are having twins. So that is what I was told. Good luck.
