At 35 weeks I delivery twins by C-section.I had two labor pains before they took me for the C-section.One of them would have died if I had them naturally because baby B never turned around.I think A C-section should be done always.I was never in any pain and it was all over with in a hour. They keep you on plenty of pain killers until you go home.

I also had a c-cection at 36 weeks due to high blood pressure. They were both head down, but they wouldn't let me deliver naturally due to my BP and toxemia. I had problems with the c-cection however. After it was done, I started hemmoraghing really bad and lost a lot of blood and had to have several transfusions. I almost had kidney failure and I was in the ICU for two days after the babies were born. It was horrible. I had a catheter, IV lines everywhere and almost had to be put on dialysis, but thank God, I made it through. I don't want to scare you, but I had no idea whatsoever that this could happen. I was terrified and afraid I was going to die, but the hospital wasn't going to let that happen. It is very rare that someone will die due to complications of a c-cection. I went through a lot, but everything turned out to be fine, and even now (9 months later) it is a faint memory of all the pain and fear I went through, and I would do it all over again for my little boys. The only advice I can give you is to research as much as you can about c-cections. Don't be afraid, know the facts so that you might be a little more prepared if it happens. You never know, you might be able to deliver vaginally. Good luck. Everything will be alright.

I delivered at 39 weeks via c-section...both babies were breach...listen, sister...dont stress...the babies are going to be born one way or the other...that was my thought throughout the entire pregnancy. I told my peri that i just didnt want to deliver both ways...I think that that is cruel. So I went c-section because they were both huge and breach and it was safer...It was great...I could actually sit down afterwards and was able to spend almost 6 days in the hospital!! So dont stress over it...just let the birth happen, because the babies are going to be born - either vaginally or by c-section. Just relax and enjoy these last precious moments...Good luck you will be fine. You will recover one way or the other, and this may not be something that you can control.
Here is the basic story...4am water broke, 7 am babies were born via c-section and Ill tell you what, when they took my daughter out it was SUCH a relief...it felt like a baloon popped...no pain! no labor...didnt even use the morphine afterwards. They take you into the OR, give you an epidural your significant other comes in, they take pictures, the babies are born...they show them to you...take them with their father/other mother to be wieghed and to do the other tests...you get sewn up and moved to recovery where they bring the babies to you to nurse or feed them...then its over...Thousands of woman have done this...its safer for twins to be born this way...you will be fine...we are with you!

I went into labor at 34.5 weeks, both girls were vertex and I was ready to have a vaginal delivery, even though my girls were vertex I was still prepped for the OR just incase the other twin possibly turned after the first one was born. Don't panic I am sure everything will be fine and you need to understand that a C-Section is sometimes necessary to ensure the safe delivery of the babies when all else fails.

Hiya I had my twins 12 years ago now (boy/girl) I had them vaginally. Twin 1 was breech (bottom first) and Twin 2 was vertex. I had a long (14 hours) labour but I still delivered vaginally and yes twin 1 was delivered bottom first! I had a lot of stitches afterwards but I soon got over that! Dont worry about the delivery, you will be just fine!! xx

I am 33 weeks pregnant with boy/girl twins. Both of mine are head/face down, so my doctor will allow me to deliver vaginally if I am able. I will be in the OR ready to go in case twin #2 has complications while twin #1 is being delivered.
I am nervous, but I hope to delivery vaginally. It will be difficult enough caring for twins without having to recover from major surgery.
Best of luck and either way, your precious babies are on their way!

I have 2 children already y first was an emergency c-section which was horrible at the time, but it was for the best for him, everything came out fine, i was in pain for awhile after words but i healed and was able to get around without help after about a week or 2. my second was natural which i liked much better than the c other than the labor pains, and it was a nice experiance, but i am now expecting twins, and had the choice to go natural or by c-section, and i have decided on c section. even though the recovery was harder, i feel it is best for the babies. I feel that even if one comes out natural and the other goes into distress they will still have to do a c, and then having to recover from both, it would be horrible. You have every right to be scared but do what you think is right. Good luck.

I had vaginal twins at 36 weeks, with no complications. I went into labor around midnight, had the epidural put in at 2 am, and delivered at 5 the next evening. But once the epidural went in I never felt a thing. Once they took me into the delivery room, it was about a 30 minute process. The kids came out fast and healthy.

I delivered via c-section at 37w5d, and let me tell you, I was just as scared as you were, reading your post made me think of me! I was petrified. I had a great experience though, and everything went smoothly. They gave me the spinal (which didnt hurt) and within a few seconds I was completely numb, I felt nothing during the surgery, and it all happened so fast! I was back in my hospital room within a half an hour and I had a tubal ligation too. My recovery was great, I was up and walking the next day, although it hurt somewhat, the best advice people gave me for a speedy recovery was to get up and move right away. I thanked my doctor for giving me such a relaxed, pleasant experience, because I was so scared! Hang in there, if you do end up needing a section, everything will be fine! I had to have one because both babies were breech :)

I delivered last week at 33 weeks. Girls. Via c-section due to blood pressure problems. I amy have been stressing and making it worse. Some contractions, but they weren't bad. My doctor wasn't going to let me go naturally anyway, one was transverse and the other breech, stubborn like their mommy! Post c-section, which took 30 minutes open to close, I got up about 6 hours later and walked to the nursery to see my babies. I think that really helped me heal faster. It is the most amazing feeling in the entire world when you hear that baby for the first time and you get to press your lips to that tiny forehead. Either way you go, you don't remember what it was like before they got there.
