Twins, Triplets & More Support Group

Hi all,

Well this week has been a whorlwind to say the least.

On Friday, I went to OB appt, and found that I was spilling way too much protein in my urine for their liking and my BP was still high, so we were told to go home and pack up for the hospital.

At 4:37 & 4:38 pm Ronan and Lily were born via C Section. I was put under general so didn't get to see them until late that evening. They are doing well and in the NICU at the moment.

He weighed 4lbs 12oz & 18 inches and she weighed 4lbs 2oz and 17 inches.

She is such a fighter and is off all breathing help as this time and eating well thru bottle and feeding tube. He is still on oxygen and having trouble keeping down his food so I am sure she will transition sooner than he will.

Neither one has lost any weight and is concerning to the nurses becuase of fluid retention but each day is a new day and we all hope they will progress in the right direction.

I pray the God keeps them safe and gets them home to me as soon as possible.

I will probably being going home on Tuesday and they will be staying for awhile. That will give me a chance to get healed and ready for them to come home so I can be the best mom I can be.

I am still in a little shock and cannot believe they are mine but each day it sinks in.

This truly is a blessing of God's miracles on Earth!!!
