back pain-when did it start for you?

Hi everyone!

I'm only about 16 weeks along now with twins, and having moderate to severe low back pain - depending on the time of day and what I am doing. I've had back problems in the past, and don't know what is due to the previous injuries and what is due to the pregnancy...so I can't decide if I should make a chiro appointment or not. Did you all have back pain this early?

" i would be going to your doctor. i never had back pain (surprisingly weird), until the last few weeks. but it all depends on how you carry.
try warm baths or a heated rice bag. massage is wonderful too (but make sure masseuse is certified with pregnancy massage).
but definetely go see your doctor...just in case "

" I got back pain almost the whole time. In early pregnancy this was probably due to my bad back in general and not the pregnancy. Later as I gained weight I'd attribute it to both. My Chiro has a special maternity table and the adjustments were always a relief. As it is I just had an adjustment not more then 2 weeks ago and I'm almost done being pregnant with my twins. 35w4d today. "
