so i am wondering which is better overall, the side-by-side or front-back stroller? i can see pros and cons for both... side-by-side isn't long and the children can still interact w/each other. people (who don't have twins, just 2 kids) have told me that they like the side-by-side because the front-back is hard to steer. still i see the pros for the front-back. so far the only ones i have found that will allow for carseats in the stroller are the front-back. plus i think the length would be better than the width in some ways. my DH and i tried to take strollers for a test drive at babies-r-us yesterday and for now we think we want the front-back. but i would really like y'alls input since you have the experience and i don't.

" I have a triplet front to back and in all honesty it harder to stear then the ones that are side by side. Also with the side by side the kids will have more leg room. When they are small its fine but after a certen point it doesnt work all that well. Just a thought. Best of luck. "

" I registered for (and have already received) the Graco DuoGlide. The car seats attach to allow them to use it as an infant. It moves and steers very easily. "

" I regret getting the front/back stroller (I have the Graco DuoGlider). For one thing, using it with the infant carseats is a pain! Really. One baby you can hardly get to, he's so buried in under the handle. You can't use the parent cups with the canopy retracted because it covers it up. And worse of all, with two carseats you almost literally have NO ACCESS to the storage basket! I HIGHLY recommend for the early stages when they are in their infant carseats to get the Baby Trend Double Snap-N-Go stroller. It normally sells for $100, but I found a used on on Craigslist for $25. I put my DuoGlider away in the garage for when my babies are older and can sit in it without their carseats.

Even still, at that point I'd still want a side-by-side. Gives both babies a full view.

If I could have any stroller I wanted, this is what I'd want:

Hope this helps! "

" Side by sides are IMPOSSIBLE to get through anywhere, Ever been to Target or grocery shopping with 2 one year olds trying to steer a side by side? Doesn't fit anywhere!

Go with a front back. I love my Duoglider! While I do agree with Indigo about getting the infant seats in there, it can be a pain. Much better handling though. I much prefer front back-or limos as I call em. The side by sides are more for strollin the beach or wide open spaces, not traversing indoors. "

" I registered for two - the Baby Tend double (for car seats) and then the BOB Revolution stroller, it is a side by side that is not too big and moves really easily. I also found one called the Citi Mini that I liked but it was more of a jogging stroller so not sure if I would want it for ever day. The BOB is in between and I have seen it a lot in NYC - twins and IVF are popular here!

I would go to the store and wheel them around no matter what you decide. "

" I got stroller frames to use with the car seats while the girls are still small but when they get bigger I got a tandum side by side umbrella that actually allows both kids to recline simultaneously. I wanted a limo stroller but everyone I found was too big to fit in my trunk and I didn't want to buy a new car. "
