Well, even though my TB is inactive, everyday I live with the thought of TB becoming active, and one day killing me. I hate the stereotypes, they are untrue, and I resent that. I grew up better than most people I knew, and dedicated a part of my life to health care, where I actually got it. For years, I was ashamed to tell anyone of my disease, even though I had it treated immediately.
Doctors and Nurses eluded my questions, and people I did tell, avoided me like the plague. I have a cousin who ended up in the same circumstance, he is positive as well. Funny thing is, we never met.
None of my immediate family have it, So I know I got it from the hospital. I am so ironically happy that these sick houses profit off of the backs of those people who work for them!
(sick!)
yeah, I guess I am mad. and a little tired.
I gave up my life, because I thought I was going to die. truth is, I already feel dead.
I didn't deserve this.It just happened. I do like scaring people I don't like with it though. I once got back at an ex boyfriend, by telling him I was contagious. (smirk)
I won't tell you how he got back at me, but he did, and good! for 6 months he thought he was going to die, until I confessed I wasn't contagious...at least not yet.
