Hi - I had gamma knife in December. I had no noticeable triggers (aside from stress that my neuro said wasn't a trigger!). The worst part was the injections in my head in order to attach the frame.
Since then I had attacks 6 weeks later (I was having attacks every 2 weeks). Then it was sporadic. Now I have been pain free for 2 months and have started to decrease my meds. I have no side effects, but have noticed that whenever I get a regular headache it starts on the upper right of my forehead the same place that my TN starts. My doctors were great and made the whole experience perfect

Hi: I had it done about 3 weeks ago. The surgery itself was bad at all. They put me out and when I woke up the frame was attatched. I had no pain at all during the procedure. I am still having attacks though. I go back to my neuro next week. I was told that it could take up to 2 months to actually see any results. Good Luck to you. Like I said it wasn't bad..
