I have been taking Baclofen for a few weeks on top of my Gabapentin and have been suffering from REALLY stiff and painful joints all over. My left knee is partiularly bad, and I have to straighten it or bend it by hand when in bed or getting up. I'm only 35 and walkign about like I'm 70. The TN pain still has its moments too.
Has anyone else had this problem? My doc wanted to change me onto Fentanyl but as I am also moving house in two weeks to the other end of the country, it maybe isn't the best tie to start experimenting with more opiods... sheesh, i make it sound like such fun! Posted on 06/29/08, 05:06 am |

Hi,
Have you been diagnosed with other things besides TN? Besides TN, I have inflamatory arthritis, fibromyalgia, hypothyroidism and DDD plus some other things. I have seen a lot of people with multiple problems on here. Maybe you and your doctor could start going at treating you from a different angle. Opioids have never done much for me, so I don't bother trying them very often. You can at least know that you have my sympathy and well wishes. I hope your move goes well! Keep us posted here.
