Does anyone get any pain releif from doing simple things in life that help. I am reffering to non-medical...I have tried hot and cold packs..hot showers...massage makes it worse...so just wondering if anyone else has some suggestions...

for awhile, when a wave of pain would hit, I would bite tightly on a rag or towel and breathe or pant through the towel. Once the pain subsided (for a few minutes) relaxing the bite seemed to help for me. That no longer works. I have tried everything to no avail. I am now on tegretol and singing its praises. Good luck!
