i have been having more pain attacks. i am scheduled for the DVM on nov 6th. i dont think i can wait that log. its terrible. the past few weeks i would get them early evening. now they start late morning. and more of them. my mom works at the hosp where all my drs are.she sd she will talk to one of her dr friends to see if there is something that could be done in the meantime.there must be openings in the OR for emergency type situations. i just dont know anymore. i have a 4 yr old who sees me like this and i hate it.
well enough.....just needed to vent

" I'm so sorry for your pain! I sddumr you've tried Tegretol, Neurontin etc. try icing your jaw (an not talking/eatinig - easy, right?) I found that took a little of the edge off (and don't forget the wine;) good dluck to you elaine - will be praying for you

" not to be a pusher, but it probably was... acohol being a CNS depressant. Before I got any medication that worked when I had my first attack, having a few glasses of wine was the only way I could eat anything for dinner (and I was starving!)
