Leah had surgery, microvascular decompression, at Allegheny General Hospital (Dr. Peter Janetta)on October 3. It was supposed to be an overnight stay but extended to five days due to postoperative headache. They found one artery and four veins compressing the nerve, that is a lot. She is doing much better now, but does still have some minor episodes. It is much, much better than the constant agony she was in.

Good to hear that she is doing well. It takes time for the pain go away or at least be at a minimum. Take it one day at a time and enjoy the good days.

It good that she is doing better. I am sure she wishes she didn't have to stay the extra time. Hoping and praying she has a speedy recover. I meet with the surgeons next month @ Duke for to set up my surgery.
