The medication Misoprostol seems to be combating the pain levels from trigeminal neuralgia for me. It is the only medication that has toned down the pain level besides oxycontin; tegritol had no effect what so ever. We all know the problems that arise from using oxy. What a strange med to work for this condition but, hey I will try anything to tone down this monster. I will not know for sure until I have a full blown TN flare up. The research looks promising and it is imperative for me to let as many people as possible know about this new use for the “Morning After Pill”. What a trip!!!
