Got my demagnetiser yesterday and will start my 4 day "treatment" today. I hope this turns out to be worth the money I spent on the demagnetiser.
I will post any effects, good or bad.

" I have been using the demag, but at first I was only using it in my left ear, because that one is the worst. But, I read DaveMC's journal that it should be done in both ears, I have been doing it this way for the last two treatments and I am experiencing a difference in my T. Softer ringing. Whooshing is gone for most of the day. More in my journal. "

" Just for the record, I've stopped using the demag on my "good" ear. After a few days of application to both ears, it felt as if the tinnitus had quieted down overall, but had become more noticeable in my good ear. That bothered me a bit so I scaled it back to my affected ear only.
Just thought I'd let you know. "

" I'm on day 6 of demagging. I've noticed no real decrease or increase in my T. I'm doing 3 sessions per day about 5-7 minutes each mostly in and around my left ear (my bad ear). I have noticed a very mild headache a few times after demagging. I rarely ever get headaches and again they are very mild. "

" Dave, my right ear started for the first time about three months after left became louder.

I've had T five years. It was only in left and very quiet four years, a non-issue.

November 2006 my left became louder after a sinus infection. Two months later Feb 07, my right started for the first time. I still have it in both with my left being louder.

Many people with T, for a reason science cannot explain, begin with T in left and it slowly moves to the right later. I wouldn't worry about the demag being the cause.

It's always baffled me why so many are "lefties" left sided T "

" Yeah, I've noticed that, at times, it seems to drift between both ears and the back of my head. When the pitch of my T is most acute - it's always been my left.
I've noticed and wondered about the "left-ear syndrome" myself. There's got to be something to it. "
