Been away from the computer for awhile. I am currently hypo and feeling really crappy. I have stopped driving and working for now. Treatment is May 22 and I can't wait. the Lid diet is not too bad but I miss half and half in my coffee and grab and go food. I can still eat pretty good but I have to plan and cook acceptable food. Out of all the things I miss, I miss my mind the most. My brain is slow and muddy. "Hi" to everyone and hope you are all hanging in there. I see there are new people here (as will continue to be the case, alas)! Hope I get to keep up now without work. We'll see! Yvette

Thinkinh about you, that is an awful feeling. The diet was awful for me. My treatment was 2-27-08 and I wasted away to barely 100 pounds. I was lucky however because I did not have to stop taking my synthroid. I was given thyrogen, one shot each day for 2 days prior to my RAI. It was the best thing my doctor could have done for me. It eleminated the hypo. So i just concentrated on the Diet.
I will keep you in my prayers and hope all goes well. If (hopefuly never) you ever have to have the Rai again it is worth asking about the thyrogen shot...
