I just went to doc yesterday and my count was 60,000. Over the last 6 months my counts have been 42,000 x-mas (having surgery), 68,000,72,000,and 88,000(when I was on predisone).
It doesnt look like they are going to get much higher. The doc says as long as I am handling the counts that he will check again in 4 months. He said the only problem is if I need to have surgery for anything again then I would have to be pumped up with predisone or get platelets. Posted on 05/29/08, 09:05 am |

If your platelets are above 30,000 and you are without bleeding symptoms then this is great. : ) No treatment needed.
