I had my left side TOS operated on about two weeks ago. I am having a lot of pain in my left chest -- just above my breast below the cut. I am wondering how long it hurts and what people have done to feel better. I have used heat/cold. Meds don't help. I am not a good at being home too long.

I wish I had some answers for you. Are you feeling any better now? I've been on "bed rest" since January. It's horrible. I'm seeing a doctor in John's Hopkins. They are doing the Scalene Botox injections. Did you have that?

I am doing better this week...my neck and arm get sore during the day. I am back at work and going strong. I just get tired easily!
I can't believe you are down so long. I am so sorry. I am hoping in another week to be at a better place with pain. All I have had done is the surgery--haven't needed other treatment. Good luck to you! Hang in there. I hope botox helps you!

I had the surgery in December and have had physical therapy as well as taking neurontin and wearing a fentanyl pain patch. I have more pain now than before my surgery. They took 2 ribs on my right side. Now they want to do my left side and I am not letting them. I am trying to get money to go to Denver to people who know what they are doing
