its natural to feel that way. You know ur now alone, but u do want someone that you can be with that wont hurt you. Which is totally natural cuz the one thing everyone wants in life is to be loved and to love.
But you must remember by just talking to people and opening up a little bit, you are putting urself out there. But everyone neds a chance to earn ur trust, cuz you can't always compare people to the past cuz when they do, it hurts especially when they try not to hurt you.

Don't rush into anything is what I'm saying. Take things one step at a time, and maybe one day you'll get back on ur feet until then, you want someone to snuggle with and just feel loved? snuggle with friends, theres no harm in that :P hope this helped

I know we've talked about this some, but I wanted to reiterate that I have felt the same way. It's completely natural to feel lonely, and even to be guarded at the same time. Being with friends can help the loneliness, and as I've said, you might be able to do more of casual relationship. You say that you won't date anyone, but I think what you mean is that you don't want to get so close that you might end up getting hurt. I did some casual dating while I was still a bit of a boy hater. Things don't have to be serious... Just see how things go. Don't worry about having to seek something out. As cliche and dumb as it sounds, it'll come to you. It's really true, you find things when you're not looking.
