Alright. Some friends of mine from way back in elementary school got me involved with porn. Now I can't seem to stop watching it. I find myself doing it almost every day and I hate it. I want to quit and have tried several times. Does anyone have advice or overcome porn addiction?

i wish u luck my friend. i am only 16, but am completely addicted. I have tried to gt over it...as hav u nd failed. It mite b wise to cut ur self off completely for 3 days or so, where u cannot gt any porn

just try to occupy yourself with other things...read a book, play games, go for a walk...

firstly .....there is nothing wrong with porn. If you are doing it, not involving, or letting any underage friends/sibelings see, then there is no real issues, unless it start taking over your life, and you cant do things you would normally because of the adiction. If it is for like half hour/hour everyday...i dont see any problems with it.
If you find you do want to stop...cold turkey may work, or even cutting back amout of time you watch it, or buy magazines instead of watching on computer/telly...less addictive, less excitiment from the,. ytet you are still seeing porn, may help you to cut back;.

your totaly not alone. im not addicted to porn really, but phone hookups and online hookups. its really hard to stop. i tried 3 times and couldnt stop, but recently i have been not allowing myself to talk that way to the guy this happens with, and its getting better. stay strong. and if you need someone to talk to. im here.

I use to be, but i stopped when i got a gf but it took me ages to during it as well, it really took ages but u can if u just try ok bud:D

For me porn is just a matter of being bored needing something to do. When you get an urge to want to go and watch porn find yourself something to do in place of that lets say go out for a jog or even eat a carrot. The ways to overcome an addiction is to figure out what your "red flags" are( which means what are the temptations to make you go and watch porn) then find something else to do to substitute it. It doesn't have to be the same thing over and over again just find something else to do when you want to go and watch porn.
