I was diagnosed with tmj when I was about 25 yrs old. Over the last 5 yrs I have started losing teeth. 5 so far, plus the 2 they took out at 25 yrs old. ( I'm 47 now)
Over the last yr or so I dont have as much trouble with my TMJ. I'm thinking less back teeth is better for me. Of course I have been periodically taking pain meds for hip and back so that is probably why the TMJ has not been so bad plus after 25 yrs I have cut out alot of things that made it worse. Regardless I'm losing all my teeth, All loose. And when hopefully in the next few months I can save to get dentures. No insurance. I'm wondering if because of the TMJ do they or can they do something different so the dentures don't cause the TMJ to act up all over again. I would like your input. Thanks to you all hope something good happens for you today. Rhea Posted on 07/19/08, 03:07 am |
