Permanent Solution for TMJ/Chronic Headaches

I have found a dentist who actually knows how to effectively treat TMJ, chronic pain, headaches, migraines, and trigeminal neuralgia without drugs or surgery. His treatment is relatively inexpensive and it provides lifelong pain relief. I just started seeing him and he is AMAZING. He is almost done writing a book on this subject and I can't wait to get my hands on a copy. Please take some time to review the information at his web site. He has informative videos that explain why people suffer with migraines, TN, chronic pain, chronic fatigue, etc. I have met his patients who have told me about the treatment process and their success.

Both of my TMJoints are dislocated and the pads are missing. My bite is so far off and this has caused me to have major TN pain, vertigo, nausea, ringing in my ears, fatigue, insomnia, etc. All that is about to change when I see him next week. I am confident I have found the answer to the chronic pain I have been suffering from for the last 29 years.

" looks like the basic occlusionist, and pretty much any "tmj specialist" with his own website will claim to have a cure. "

" Well, I have been to a couple of supposed TMJ specialists and they have done nothing for me except drain my wallet and cause more damage. I have been to other specialists who didn't know anything and simply missed a lot of basic things due to ignorance and/or laziness. It isn't quite fait to lump every specialist in the same category. It is sad you have not had luck finding any help. He also does not claim a cure. He claims a solution for 90%, not 100%. He has suffered through this himself for 30 years before finding exactly what has worked. It works for 90% of people. So you can take it or leave it. "

" I think this treatment would be worth trying if it wasn't so expensive.
I did it this a few years ago In Oregon and it did help some but now my Pain is really bad again.
I could still clench with the mouth guard and my Trigemianl nerve flare up alot.
The cost after the Computer test, lots of x rays, treatments with cranial Sacial massage, TENS treatments, etc. was about 6 thousand dollars.
It was not worth six thousand dollars!
I hope others will have good luck with this treatment. "

" well, i have had the splint since wednesday and my TN, facial, migraine, tension headaches, neck, shoulder, pain has gone from a severe 10 down to a 2. i am amazed! i can sleep at night. i wake up without kinks in my neck. no more TN, jaw or facial pain when i wake up, or at all during the day. no more headaches of any kind, including tensions headaches. i find this to be a miracle. i never imagined this to be possible. so, i just wanted to let you all know there is hope for pain relief out there. sure, there is the trade off of eating soft foods until all the nerve and joints heal. but, that is no big deal, especially considering it is enhancing my weight loss efforts. so, this is really working out well, all things considered. so, there is hope, even when you think there is none and you are at the end of the rope. " Hello,
I am so happy this is working out well for you. You had mentioned you have to eat soft foods until your joint or nevers heal.

I have to eat soft food, no chewing for the rest of my life unless they come up with a goog disc replacement. Did your doctor say that no chewing is temporary or permanent even with the splint.

Way to go!!!!

" Autonomic nerves - effecting small fibers - everything that your body does or suppose to do automatically without you telling it to do it and all of the things that your body is doing because you have MS, Fibro, Celiac, Allergies, Breathing Problems, Chronic Fatigue and MUCH more!

I think that this site will help you with resources and links, but how others have dealt with similar issues. Go look up the topics that have "autonomic" in the subject line.

There are new topics everyday - a lot of research goes into the Neuropathyteam posts which provides many resources and links. There are a lot of pictures to help you visualize what you're going through too!

Thought we could help.. http://dailystrength.org/groups/ne... "
