MAN! I am so glad I started seeing a massage therapist every two weeks for my jaw! I've been seeing her for almost two months and I HAVEN'T HAD A SINGLE HEADACHE SINCE! I was getting them pretty much everyday and they were really affecting my performance at work, not to mention my social life. If you haven't tried it, go do it!

Totally agree- the sad part for me is I can't afford any more treatments:( But you're right. Massage is the way to go!

Does the massage therapist massage your jaw and face? I like massages and they help with the stiff neck and shoulder. But, in addition to TMJD, I also have trigeminal neuralgia so I don't like my face to be touched at all. At least some meds help a lot with the trigeminal neuralgia, but just the thought of someone massaging my face is extremely unpleasant.
