Can anyone tell me the procedure when they fix your TMJ. i will have wear that clear mouth guard.Has it helped anyone.It is going to cost me alot of money. Someone said just buy the one at the store that you put in warm water then it molds to your mouth.Any advice would be greatly appeciated.

I am going to break down and pay the money for the bite splint too. my insurance doesn't cover it- so I put it off. I REALLY need it- so I just made the appointment. I did get a cheap one- but it started makeing things worse. The doctor said it was a bad idea for me to get the cheap one since my case is so severe. I am in so much pain all the time- massage worked great for me, but now its time to get my bite straightend out and stop clenching my teeth. good luck to you:)
