My TMJ Symptoms

hi everyone well i have suffered with this for many years but it seems that as time goes on it gets worse. i also don't have any medical ins. which of course makes it harder to obtain any help. my symptoms started with dizziness.
i was washing my dishes when i felt light headed and dizzy so i just stood up straight and lifted my head and it went away. then it started to happen more times whenever i would bend down so i would just have to stand up straight and lift my head and it would go away. the next symptom was my left ear, it would feel clogged and then i would get the dizziness right after, but just like before it would go away when i lifted my head.
one day i had the clogged ear and dizziness lasting 1/2hr which had never happend before so i went to a doctor where i was told i have vertigo. next symptom was my jaw, it started popping but on my right side only, i finally went to see a dentist where he told me i have tmj.
i also have many many headaches especially left side, earache, tickling in the ear, neck pain, shoulder and upper back pain all on my left side. now i constantly suffer from all the above pretty often but before it was only when i would bend down, now it happens even if i am sitting or standing up straight, so unfortunately i had to quit my job. this is so terrible it gets in the way of my day to day activities, i just wish it would go away.

" I no exactly how you feel!! believe me I do.
Same story as you...Had TMj since I was 11 my mom could not afford braces but hell during that time the only thing I was going though was clicking and popping here and there no big deal I was young. As time went on, slowly but surely symptoms got worse. I couldn't kiss for a long time without my jaws hurting. But still I dealt with it..As soon as I start having babies all hell broke loose. My main complaint now is the dizziness. And it started when I WAS WASHING DISHES TOO!! I got so freaked out I had a anxiety attack and went to bed.It sucks ass I hate it. I think I would rather be in pain than to be dizzy all the time. Went to the doctor she gave me some Antivert. I asked the bitch if it causes dizziness and she aid no. And that shit made me more dizzy. Now I get the pain too here and there.. I try to stay clear from gum. And eating chocolate and caffeine at night. I went to the ENT because my ears felt like they was going to explode and itchy ringing ears all the time. Watery eyes and red eyes looks like im high or something. and very irritable. I hate going up to high elevated places(Mountains) because my ears wig out and get clogged. I cant travel anymore because of the flying, my ears are jacked up! Well the ENT ordered a MRI, get the results tommow. I also ha a appointment with the neuromuscular dentist. But had to pros pone that till I find out about the MRI.
Sorry for the swearing just frustrated talking about it. Anyway, I just wanted to let you no I feel you!

" Good luck Candy, this is a horrible medical problem. The hard thing for me is that other people such as family don't understand how severe it is, because of course they don't have it.... "
