Stillbirth Support Group

I guess a lot of us are just used to the miscarriage community. I think that this is a great idea but I go to the miscarriage community because I have friends there that had a miscarriage and not a stillborn. I have had both and I agree that a m/c is way different than a stillborn.

I agree #1 I belong to both communities. So I wouldn't have to leave my friends. I go back and forth. Let them know we are here for them.

I think those mom's that have been on here a bit will continue to use both communities, like you said, we have friends that are over there. For new moms, I think they will make more of a choice, but if not, know that these women that are here now understand what you are going through and will support you no matter how you lost your child. Hugs.

Yes, I agree, I was happy to find this new community, as there is a big difference between stillbirths & miscarriages, but no matter how long our babies are alive inside our wombs, the main thing is that they were alive, for however short (or long) a time.

It is different, but we are all going through a loss, i don't think it matters the age of a child a loss is a loss and we are all feeling pain and need to be there for each other but it is different and iam glad we have this community... sometimes i would have trouble with some people who haven't even known they are pregnant or just find out and say they feel the same as i do but they can't because they don't have the same connection, feeling a baby moving and watching it grow and then giving birth are totally different....
