" Jake this is great news. Stay vigilant, that danged Nicodemon lurks for a long time just waiting for a weak moment. I'm truly delighted that acupuncture is making the initial stages of the quitting process manageable for you. I also believe that you are ready to commit to a nonsmoking lifestyle or the acupunctue would have worked for perhaps a day or two. You got through Hell Week (week one of your quit) and are now into Heck Week which is by most accounts easier to deal with. Keep up the GREAT job, keep coming back to DS and keep letting us know how you're doing. Oh yeah! If you even seriously think about lighting up then come here first, post about your intent and wait for 5 responses before firing up...chances are really good that you won't want to blow this great quit that you now own. " Hi Jake,
Welcome to the family. 11 days is awesome and it will get easier as time passes. I am so happy that you have found a method to help you quit. Stick with what works. The most important this is YOU QUIT this nasty addiction.
Beacuse smoking is an addiction, I treat myself like a recovering addict. I know that one puff will spiral me down until I am smoking a pack and 1/2 in no time flat.
N.O.P.E. stands for Not One Puff Ever. I joined that club on 2/13/08 I haven't had a cigarette for 154 days. You will get there too my friend. Hang Tough.
