fight with the hubby and kids in trouble on the bus. I almost had myself talked into running out for a pack of smokes...I even got all dressed. Then I" started thinking of after that cig and how I would feel. Not good. It would be a big fat let down, and a chance for the hubby to say "told ya." Hate to give him any ammunition to add to a fight. Sitting here with my cheese and crackers till I have to head out for work.

I am sure I will have those moments, too. I must remember though that the cigarette will not help at all resolve the situation. I am sticking with cinammon. It's real good at keeping you away from smoking and I even found sugarless!! (still lookiong for sugarfree cinammon gum).

I had the same experience one time where I was ready to go to the store and it took every oz of strength to talk myself out of it. The next day I was so glad that I didn't.

All smoking will do for you during times of stress(hubby) is give you a mental break to cool down and process things. Take your break,cool down but without lighting up. Take a walk,drink a bottle of cold water,suck on a sugar free candy, take a bubble bath. Anything but lighting up a dead stick. I am proud of you. Deb
