" I cant say as I have ever had this problem. Unless somehow the humidif is growing mold and the mold triggered a sinus infection. "

" How often are you cleaning your machine? I have heard that sometimes you are more likely to have breathing probs so I suppose it is possiable that it may be a side effect. "

" My hubby has been on a Cpap machine for 8 years. The last 2 years he has really struggled with this problem. He cleans his mask, hoses twice a month in dish soap and vinegar. We replace the hoses and mask every 6 months.
His machine has a humidifier on it that he can set either to warm or cool.

He has tried using it with and without the humidifier. Even if he uses it one night his sinuses drain for at least 3 days, he sneezes constantly and feels miserable.
He has seen the doc, doc says its the machine. He took the machine in, they are saying its not the machine.
He never had this problem up until about 2 years ago, at first it was just at season time change, now its all the time so he has taken to sleeping in the recliner until we can find a new ear nose and throat doc.
He has prescription cream that he applies in his nose nightly, that also doesnt seem to make a difference.

It is so very frustrating because he is so tired when he comes home from work he sits in the chair and snoozes on and off all night.

I hope we can figure out what the cause of this is. "
