Im not sure im in the right group, i cant sleep because of racing thoughts and nightmares, i take trazadone it help alittle, in the last 2 weeks ive only slept maybe 6 or 7 hours, its getting hard to function from day to day

" Hello I take ambien CR and it works great for me 8 hours a night and so side effects. I know its not a narcotic but they say it can be habit forming but of well if it works. I have thyroid medication I have to take the rest of my life and If I don't take it I can't funtion.

" you may already know this but it could be something as simple as staying up late watching something scary every night? Even shows like Law & Order at night can be disturbing. What about eating late? Spicy foods to close to bed time? Just some things to remember. "
