" I have swollen lymph nodes right below my ears, but they rarely hurt, so I don't do anything for those. I've had them under one arm, but it didn't last more than a couple of days. Lately I've had swelling on my right knee, and I've been trying warm baths, but I don't think it's helping. Sorry, I guess I'm not much help. "

" I think my Sjogren's is progressing because I have started to feel pain underneath and around the bottom of my ears. I assume it is either the parotid (salivary?) glands or lymph nodes. It doesn't feel swollen but I can't really tell. It kinda makes me mad because I am tired of all these symptoms. I hope your check out the swellings with your doctor. I am going to Mass. General in a couple of weeks and hope to get some additional information about Sjogren's. "

" yes my glands swell up under my ears around the time I have my period when it happens I can't eat to releive it I close my mouth, pitch my noise and breath out hard it does clear them sometimes. As for the other swollen glands my doctor told me there is not mush they can do, It's not just my kness but all my joints hert a bath with epsone salts helps or heat packs. Keep the joints moving or else they will stiffen up and get worse but rest is also inportant. I hope this helps "

" Well, I went to MA. General and I got no answers at all. I am beginning to think I understand Sjogren's a lot more than any of the numerous doctors I have seen. "

" I just got diagnosed yesterday but the one thing he said was that sjogrens carries a higher rate of possibility for contrac ting cancer of the lymth nodes, and if I felt any tenderness or swelling to call him. So it might not hurt to call yours. It's not my intention to scare you and I hope I haven't,but I felt compelled to tell yall. Greetings from Texas, cyndiruns "

" for your ones under your jaw or ear. Suck on lemon drops it activates the gland and helps you to pass the thick salivia. Heat packs help too. I get sand grandules that come out. You can get stones there as well since the fluid is not thin. I know it hurts but you are uch better to make them produce whatever you can. They clog up and you are really hurting. "

" I had really swollen lymph nodes last week below my ears. It looked like I barely had a neck I was so swollen. I was just diagnosed with sjogrens and didn't know what to do so I put ice packs on my glands trying to get them to go down. I have no idea what to do when something like this happens. "

" Try castor oil packs on your painful node. Castor oil helps to mobilize and
disperse lymphocytes softening the nodes.
Just soak a cloth in castor oil, place it on the node,
cover with a piece of plastic and an old towel and keep it warm with a
heating pad or hot water bottle. Rest while you leave it on for an hour or
so, repeating the process for a few days. "
