I usually feel very comfortable talking one on one, but in public places I try to avoid being seein. I avoid eye contact and usually look down. Any suggestions on how to make eye contact with strangers, without feeling odd or even silly?

I decided to challenge myself, until it becomes a habit. I have been practicing, and noticed that if they look at you and you look at them and smile, they usually smile back.
