Im new im not always shy in fact i cn be outgoing but i get shy all the time.Like if im in a class or a new place and i dnt knw anyeone ill just sit back and be a loner and i hate it especially in class wen everyone is staring at u and whispering coz u siting alone i hate it. U feel hated like everyones just like u dnt fit in go away and im to shy to make new frendships....

" I can relate. In a new situation it's definitely easier to sit alone then try to introduce yourself and be sociable. But, if to be sociable and make friends is really what you want, you'll need to challenge yourself. There are lots of good books on this...one I've heard great things about is called Don't Call Me Shy, though I haven't read it myself. Good luck. All of us here know how tough it is. "
