just when I think I got it down...I actually changed jobs to get away from the shopping mall where I used to work. I now work where there is not a store for miles. Unfortunately, I have learned the double reward of online shopping..the excitement of buying AND getting packages...anyone else?

" There was a time when the highlight of my day was seeing the UPS man. And not just because he was cute. I always thought if I bought this pair of earings or bought this outfit people would like me more. "

" OMG, that's me too! Plus, you can find such incredible deals online. I feel so good when I get, say, free shipping + 20% off because I found a coupon (i.e.. if you google j crew "coupon" or "promo" you can usually find an added incentive!) And then I love the anticipation of getting stuff. I was just telling Saffrondarling that we should get together anfd have a "trade" club - that way we just pay for postage : ). "

" I like all of you love to shop online. I do not care to go to shopping malls at all. Rather than setting up a trade group I say we set up a time each week, preferably twice a week for me, where we challenge one another to do aother thing besides shopping, which could include spending time QT time with your child, or taking up a new, free hobby. I'm here to get help not to find other ways to shop, anyone else? "

" well, it seems I am not alone...unfortunately, this kind of addiction is much more acceptable than say, gambling or drug use. my family has a history of obssessive/compulsive disorder and this appears to be a new wrinkle... "

" I think that bingeing is my style of online shopping addiction too. Every month I spend more on clothes/shoes/cosmetics than I should and am not saving what I want to. I do well for a few weeks and then one evening decide to reward myself. Instead of buying the one item that I can afford and have thought about I end up buying two outfits with accessories. Is there anyway to block websites from myself?!? "

" OMG. That's pretty much the only way I shop. I have a few malls in my area, but sometimes I feel ashamed to go into them so much because I feel the sales people will recognize me and wonder, why is she here, again? I also love the discounts and free shipping. Its pretty exciting getting a package, almost like getting a present. "

" I too am worried about going into stores. Usually I am going to return something that I bought online. I am sure that the sales people recognize me at my favorite store. One of my goals on this website is to not buy things that I might want to return. I am glad to know that someone else does this too. "
