Finding out that you have a STI will do that. Currently, I feel like a dirty whore with finding out that I have the Herpes. Keep in mind though, just like Minnesotagurl said, Chlamydia can be treated and the body eventually rids its self of the HPV (it can take a year or two, but it will). You're definately not alone. I've had HPV a couple of times (did I mention that I feel like a dirty whore?) and I guess I was lucky because it wasnt too bad. My advise would be, do self exams regularly and if you feel like you are having a breakout, call your DR. There is no need for you to suffer more than you already have. - As far as the forgiveness - Well, you are the only one that knows your man. Topics like this are uncomfortable to bring up for sure but it'll nag at you until you snap one day and thats bad for everyone. Be honest and straightforward with him "Im feeling like total SHIT because of these vajayjay issues. I need a hug!!"

Hi i know how you feel. I was given chlamydia by a thoughtless guy and i must have had it for ages before i found out i had it. Im so angry and worried about it affecting my fertility. If when i try to conceive i have problems from this infection i will hunt him down and beat him severly. I hate him so much i could really hurt him. Whats worse is when i met my boyfriend 7 years ago - after the guy who gave me the infection i passed it onto my current boyfriend - we did split up over it and i dont know why but he forgave me. Wow I'm glad I came across this website and more importantly to this post. I too once had chlamydia when I was 20 and was recently told I had HPV. I felt so disgusting and ashamed of myself. At the time I was going through a tough break up and honestly had no care in the world and STD's never ran through my mind. I just turned 24 today and I got a flash of all my mistakes but am glad to know I am not alone... thanks to everyone for sharing. It has truly brightened up my day ( especially my birthday!)

I found out today that i have chlamydia and HPV too. I also feel so gross! Im scared to tell the people i have been with. My friends said i shouldnt tell anyone because it will get around our group of friends and everyone will think im a whore. I really dont know what to do. I think i should tell them. I think im going to post this to everyone.
