Horribly this country still works on the "Jonh Wayne" principle when we try to work with young boys/men abused by family in the past. Men are formed (at least) in our society that they (don't speak about what happened, don't tell any one what happened and don't fight back) this worked with the Catholic church for years. As a women I was taken and shouldn where my mother's grave would be. But boys aren't alloweed to cry over a dead pet, much least the hell that they are going through and so they often take the pain and turn it into anger. the may arm small animals, set small fires, anything to get attention but it there is no go social or school counselor the kid gets lost in the process...they also don't learn how to have healthy releathships with women never seen one at home. We are losing alot of young men out there because the public can't stand the thoughts of little boys being victems....but honey you've made the big step...admitting...now get lots of books (librably) and read them and try to get into therap if you can....the abuse memoiers nevery go away, but we learn t kick there ashes....here to help...one survivor to another

im so sorry for your pain! i know its mostly women who get the attention for the abuse and we dont hear about the men much, i think men are more embarrased and dont tell. i hope you can find something to ease your pain. have you tried therapy? there is a group for sexual abuse on here too. my abuse started when i was 5, but thank God not by my dad. i feel for you and if you need a friend im here to talk to anytime! ((((hugs))))
