hun dont cut ur self 2 be put in hospital :( if u think that would be better 4 u just talk 2 ur doc about it :)

I dn't knw about the whole hospital thing. I just wanted to say that I understand about not wanting to show ur mom ur cuts. I'm 22 and sadly live with my parentals. An unfortunate event happened and they found out about my cutting (I was soooo stupid for letting them in that part of me), anywho...they just started asking me to see my arm, and whether there were new cuts. I dn't feel that they have the right to look and see, unless we want them too. It's our phyiscal body and what we do with it, is our concern. My mother, snached up my sleeve and checked. They dn't knw about my cuts on my upper legs and thighs... dnt plan on telling them...I agree with u on the, they shouldn't be able to see them, unless we want them too. lots of hugs. stay strong. blessed be.

i want to cut to see if she'll actually do it. if she'll do what's best for me. i've been wanting to cuz before all this happen n' i never did cuz i was scared she'd actually do it but i don't think she will. but idk. i don't feel the need to but when i do i'm not sure i'll think twice about it.

hun if ur mom loves u she will do it :) trust me when moms n dads love there kids n dont want them 2 get hurt or anything thay will do anything 2 stop it :)

i understand why they do it, but i dont agree. thats an invasion of privacy and it just makes u feel more uncomfortable, like someone else said its ur body, although im not saying its good to cut. good luck!

personally i think its stupid to hospitalize someone who cuts cuz its not like your trying to die...you are trying to live!! cutting is coping and coping is living....sorry i hate hospitals...being put in there 14 times in a 3 year period just has a way of turning you off for life!!! but yeah when my parents first found out about the cutting they checked like once a week but i always played all the new ones off as accidents so eventually they gave up checking..

no my mom don't care that much bout me..my dad does tho but idk if they can actually put me in there.idc if i go to the hospital or not.personally i'd rather go. better than living here. and mom likes to think her life is perfect and does things to make if seem that way so me being there would be something to make her life not perfect. if mom asks to see my cuts (and i dought she will) i'm not going to show her. i refuse to!

keep in mind you are stil a minner and your mom can do what ever she wants with you not to mention when you go back to your next consoling sesion iam sure she will ask your ma if she checked and if not iam sure they will do the same thing agian right in front of you and ask to see your arms

im a cutter myself, been cut free for a yr now, but i had a day out with my 18 yr old daughter this past week and she told me she cut when she was 15, i was shocked! i never knew, it made me so sad i didnt know she was in that much pain! be greatful you have a mom who loves you and cares for your health! i wish i would have known back then cause now she is more depressed than ever and just started on meds and seeing a therapist, i could have interviened a long time ago if i would have only known her pain! my advice is to be straight up with you mom cause she loves you and you dont want to get to the point of disaster cause you want to hide you pain! yea i know what u mean about the whole they have no rigt to just look when ever they want........since i told my parents my dad has been just grabing my left arm (cauz thats the arm he knows in the only thing ill do it to) and checks when ever he wants......and gess what knowing him hes gona check soon and find the cut that i just made today that goes from my elbow to the very botum of my wrist where my hand starts.....its the longest and depest cut ive ever done and i know hes is going to freek......knowing him he might even put me in a hospital...wich i think i could use...nothing sharp neer me to cut my self with
