Why do some people on youtube take pictures of there cuts and scars, but mainly there cuts open cuts that are bleeding i really dont understand this. Does anyone else understand and does anyone else take pictures because i find the ones on youtube kinda triggering. Don't you?

" Oh my God! People do this? That is fucking sick! I think looking at other people's cuts or scars is definately triggering. At least it was for me. This may sound stupid but I felt like I could always do better. In high school, I had a crowd of about 10 friends that all did this and to be honest, I felt like I belonged. So yeah, I find it triggering! "

BUT videos on the other hand..i cant stand. i find it wrong. its something we do to heal or get rid of stress not to use as entertaiment. and then there are some that say they ARE "helping" how are you helping when we see blood and cuts and stuff?
now if it says "can trigger" or has pictures of something else like how to stop cutting then those video's would be worth it.
