i have been cuttin since 2001 and cant seem to stop. I only do it when i am angry or depressed. I call my friends for help and the snub me and say if i dont stop i wont have them as friends anymore. I dunno what to do. why cant i stop ......

u know how u feel, i've been cutting for 3 yrs, and i don't think i can stop either.....it's cuz it's very, very addicting.

i have the same problem my friends tell me if i dont stop then cutting means more to me then there friendship. iv tried to stop a few times but it just makes things worse. my real friends support me and understand i cant stop. i think you should talk to your friends and try to get them to understand how you feel. it will be easier to stop with their suport

'Friends' can really suck sometimes. Most of my friends have no clue I cut but they know I struggle but whenever I reach out they don't bother.. I guess that's why I came here :) Hopefully we can both reach out to some friends here and it'll help us get through the hard times
