" i dont know how many people here have experience being around pediatric schizophrenia, im sure the way you handle it would be different, especially considering that she is set back a few years mentally. not to mention the myriad of other conditions she apparently has, you can't treat her the same way that you would treat a 15 year old, a 20 year old, or older, with schizophrenia. or even a normal 6 year old, for that matter.

there are a lot of symptoms and some people get different parts of it and some people get others. not everybody gets the exact same experience. so without knowing what symptoms she shows that they were able to make a diagnosis on, i have no idea what to say. im not one to give any advice though since im having to deal with this while waiting for my doctors appointment.
