yes, it is commonly used here in Australia as an antipsychotic. I found it dsidnt really do what I needed it to, buit others I know find it really helpful.

I dont think I know of anyone who has had major side effects from it though so thats good.

Yes. Was on this for a period of time after my first seizure. It is considered top of the line by some psychiatrists who are trying to help patients get their life straight. It has a good success rate. One of the main side effects is quiet nasty--alot of wheight gain. I put on a good 20 lbs. I stopped it because of that main reason. Is your Doc thinking about using it.? It is worth a try if you really want to.

im on 2.5mg,,there are side effects,,but to me it is worth it,,now i only have auditory hallucinations,they re very mild,,compared to before..no manic episodes XXXX and i can function somewhat now,,
because the drug has been known to cause diabetes..i am on a no table sugar diet..i dont kno if this would work or decrease your chances and i ve never asked..but i dont crave any sugary foods, i actually get sick at the thought of eating those foods,,and i have lost weight..i was pushing 200lbs,,now im down to 135...but, when i went off of sugar it felt like i was going to pass out for the first week or two..after that i now have more energy
