I was wondering how many of you have RLS and Low blood Pressure (BP)?
If you have RLS and LOW bp what happens to your symptoms when you were sick and took decongestant?? Thanks for any input Posted on 06/12/08, 09:06 am |

I have rls and have had it for over 20 yrs. My b/p is good; however some decongestants and anti-histamines especially benadryl & OTC/rx combinations cold/sinus/cough medications: Actifed , comtrex, contact, Dimetapp, Triaminic, Theraflu, Vick's cough syrup, Tylenol PM, Bayer PM, Sominex, Unisom can trigger rls. Now some people may be able to take it; however one thing to remember is what is works for one may not work for another.
Here is a link for meds that can and cannot be taken if you have rls www.rlshelp.org Charlene

My b/p is usually 110 /60 or sometimes 120/60. I know the b /p varies with the person so I would ask your dr what is good for you. This b/p is good for me. I hope this helps you.
Have a good day Charlene
