I have Raynauds disease but I also have Erythromyalgia. If my feet get to cold, I will get a toe that will swell too twice its size and turn beet red and will be on fire and will get very painful. My hands if they get cold or I get stressed will turn bright red and swell and will burn to the touch and also burn like I have washed them in something very abrasive. I know several people with Raynauds but nobody that has even heard of Erythromyalgia, let alone have it. I was in a car accident and my feet turned blue, my hands turned bright red and the rest of my body was as white as a sheet. I had a young doctor who had never heard of the Erythromyalgia and he had to Google it. I think he felt sorry for me.

" Raynaud's is a hard disease to fight. you just turn blue and purple. I have had it since about 35 and its worse of course now. so I know to advoid anything cold, no hands in freezer, when you go to grocery store I have to wear gloves and socks .. feet have to stay warm. I do not swell too much but its not going to go away. we have to learn to deal with it so their are things that will help you. if you need anything please write. hugs gail "
