Muscle weakness and atrophy?
Watch this
View More Posts Ignore
Hi all, I have noticed a lot of muscle weakness and atrophy since PE (six months ago now). I've had physical therapy, nutrition advice and can't seem to get my muscles working right. I've heard that the blood thinners can damage the blood, making the blood not able to carry adequate nutrition to build muscles - and I've heard that it takes a while to get the lungs to take in enough oxygen to get to the muscles so they can strengthen. Very confusing. I'm exercising and not building much muscle - legs and arms are a bit spindle-like. Any ideas or info or advice appreciated. I need to be able to climb stairs to navigate our home and still am confined to lower level. thanks! hugs, clairejean

" I am not really sure I can be of any help except say that it takes time - probably not what you want to hear, but it sounds like you are doing everything right by having physical therapy and nutrition advice. I am 5 months PE and I am very listless, but I now hope to get more fit from now on - I think that exercise is vital and keep going - you'll get there. x x x "
