Bleeds under the skin?
Watch this
View More Posts Ignore
All I have to do is bump something and there are times when I don't even know I bumped anything and I get these nasty looking under the skin red areas (bleeds under the skin). They range from dime size to quarter size.

Also my hands look like they belong to a 150 yr. old woman. My veins are sticking out and I can even see those tiny veins at times? My skin is taking on a paper thin look.

Anyone experiencing these?

Stay well and happy,
Nan

" hello nan,
I spoke to the pharmacist yesterday about what might be causing my INR to increase
(I took one motrin tablet last week for my menstrual cramps and he said that this can be bad because it can raise the INR, but I only had one and the doc doesn't think this is the problem. My diet has not changed) it went from a 2.2 to a 3 in less than a week.

He did mention to watch for brusing and call your doctor. He said (which I'm sure you already know) that when your INR is too high than you can be more prone to brusing and/or internal bleeding. I pray that you will find answers to this question. I'm waiting for my hemotologist to call this afternoon to make an alteration in the dosage (I'm at 7mg warfarin) Hope you're having a great day! lori "

" Hi Nan
Went back to work today and basically spent 6-7 hours on my feet.
Tonight I have noticed a similar rash to you describe only a bit smaller all over the lowere part of my legs. Been on wafarin 4 months and not noticed this before although I know this can be a side effect. How much is normal though?
Think if it still the same tomorrow will try and see my doctor. Will let you know.

Kate "
