" You didn't say what the test is but I am assuming Spirometry? This is where you blow into a machine to get your breathing ranges. If it is then you have nothing to worry about. This test measures how well you are inhaling, exhaling and other measures.

I have a spirometry done every 6 months. Easy as can be. "

" Hi there lovehart,

They actually talked about giving me a "lung test" while I was in the hospital, and it was the same thing tumblingnan said. Just blowing in to a tube or something ... just measuring your breathing. They never did do the test on me, and I don't know why? They kept saying they heard "decreased breathing sounds" whenever they listened to me with a stethoscope, so maybe whatever the test would have showed wouldn't be that much more revealing.

It doesn't sound like anything to worry about. Even if it shows that your lung function isn't what it used to be, that doesn't mean it's going to stay that way. You definitely have youth on your side, and lungs are amazing things as they can regenerate and repair themselves!

Good luck, and let us know what they say! :o) "
