So I'm trying some new stuff... its called T-Sal... by the makers of our old friend T-Gel. T-Gel used to work great for me back when i was a kid and they called my psoriasis "cradle cap". To make a long story short, T-Gel no work no more. So i sprung for this new 9 dollar stuff. It says it contains 3% salicylic acid... instead of good-ol' coal tar (yuck). At very least it won't stain my bathtub as bad... right? Anyway, I' haven't tried it yet... and i'm afraid its gonna sting like the usual "over the counter" psoriasis stuff does (excrutiating huh? )... so before i do... anyone tried it before? good? bad? lemme know......

" I have not tried it but if the psoriasis is bad on your scalp...try plain peanut oil from the grocery store. Put in on at night and sleep in a shower cap on the evenings you feel comfortable doing so.My psoriasis nearly caused baldness several years ago.I had a nurse mid-wife tell me that is how she removed cradle cap from babies.I figured I had nothing but hair to lose,so i gave it a try....and it really worked. I used it for 3 months and have never needed to use it again.I still get a few spots ..but nothing bad. Good Luck "

" NaturLover, I don't know how bad your psoriasis is or if you even have it.. I didn't bother to look at your profile. However, when my psoriasis is really bad and I am not on some kind of medication, like Enbrel, and using topicals, I'd rather be dead than feel the pain it causes. When I was diagnosed with Psoriasis I had no medical insurance and tried every natural remedy that I could find, and NOTHING helped. I lost hair, I lost my fingernails/toenails, and my body was covered in spots, bleeding, etc. So yeah.. I think most people do care about their health, do try a natural approach first, then over the counter, and when all of that fails, living life becomes your focus.. not what might happen years down the line if a medication is used now.
