Hi girls....Well they measured my baby heartbeat and said it was 161-163 bpm?? Isn't this high for so early. Everything I read said early 100's??

mine were around 160-170 at that time so I dont think its too high :)

That sounds good to me too. I think the heart rate is highest at the beginning and then it gets slower the older the baby gets.

I think that rate is just right. My baby's was around that same number and I'm 35 weeks today.

Sounds perfect!! Mine was between 160-174 and now at 12 weeks it is a steady 159

my baby started out in the higher range at that stage as well and then went to a more middle of the road to lower hb in my second trimester. It's all normal. Try not to look too much into these sort of things unless your dr. sounds concerned. You heard the heart beat whoooo hooooo! =)

Hi! Heartbeat is perfect! Don't want it 180 or above or below 100. My little one started at 117 and is now 150. No worries.
