When/Where do you feel baby move?

Ok, so I am 14 weeks and 5 days and I swear on everything I felt baby move! But Im afraid it is too high...
Where do you normally feel it, mine was above my belly button, and I felt it numerous times, and it made my belly move.
Could this be baby or just gas?
And I have been told you should feel something around 14-16 weeks, am i trying too hard to feel something or could that have been it?

" I am 24 weeks and have always and still feel my baby kicking/punching/moving down low. Right above the pubic area and in between what used to be my hip bones...lol.! I have never felt my baby kick that high yet, but you could be different. It feels to me like a muscle twitch (like if you'd ever had an eye twitch) except in the belly. "

" I doubt it was the baby if it was above your belly botton at 20w your uterus lies just bellow your bellybottn it could have been your ligments and your organs getting pushed up it feels like butterflies when you first feel it but at 14-15w it would still be pretty low below your belly botten and not that strong. " Sounds a bit high for 14 weeks, but hey, you never know. In a few more weeks, you'll be feeling kicks all the time. Hang in there! "

" Everybody is a little different. The earliest I ever felt a baby move was with my current pregnancy-- I was just shy of 16 weeks. It should correspond to where your uterus is. At about 15 weeks, I think it's more like 2-3 inches below your belly button. It feels like a twitch or flutter in your stomach. "

" I echo everyone else. When I first felt the baby move around 16 weeks, it was really low. In the past 3-4 weeks (I'm now 26 weeks) I've started to feel it around the middle (near my belly button). Who knows, though! I get twitching sensations right under my ribs now and often wonder if it's the baby or just a muscle twitch. "
