" Hi and welcome to DS. This really is a great site. I was dizzy at times through my pregnancy. It's pretty normal. Make sure when you get out of bed to slowly get up. It could be your blood pressure. Make sure that's okay. If it keeps up I would call your dr. just to be on the safe side. You have increase blood flow while pregnant too. "

" You might want to try eating more protein, like cheeses, eggs, poultry, nuts, etc. I got dizzy a lot during my first pregnancy and I was told it had to do with my blood sugar. I use to eat a lot of carbs which was causing the problem. The doc told me to eat every two hours also. It really has helped. I am anemic too, but I stopped taking my iron pill because of all the stomach issues. I try to get the iron from what I eat and I make sure to eat the iron with something that has vitamin C in it. That's supposed to make the iron absorb better. Good luck! "

" I've been anemic most of my life, and suprisingly, the 2 things that helped me, was eating more iron, obviously (especially red meat), and my mom would cook in iron pans. That helped a lot too! Suplements never helped me b/c it just went right through me. Hope that helps! "

" I wasn't able to swallow vitamins with my first pregnancy and the doctor recommend flinstone vitamins to eat. I dunno if that helps im not familiar with anemia. I have been extremely dizzy lately, i haven't been driving at all and trying to take it easy, i can't even clean my kitchen or cook dinner without having to sit real fast because im feeling faint. Dizziness occurs alot with pregnant women my doctor explain to me it's normal but really scary so ask ur doctor if he needs to run more test but take it easy if u can! "
