experiences with diagnosing PP

My 7 month old just developed pubic hair. The doctor took the initial bloodwork but I'm curious of what comes next? Is there any advice or experiences that will help me prepare with what we are facing? Like most mothers, I have never heard of this until your doctor recognized the symptoms. Any help or advice would be beneficial. Thanks.

" am going through the same thing at the moment. My 19 month has just been diagnosed with True Central PP. It is a scary time. We have had the MRI 4 days ago and yesterday we had the GnRH Stimulation test, which was not plesant. The hormones seem to be getting worse with her moods swinging greatly. The doctor we are dealing with has been fantastic with all the explanations. Hard to think what to ask as this is a quite rare condition. We hope to have treatment started by the end of the week. Her Bone x-ray and ultrasound were fun to do, but the bloods were HELL!! I dont know any other mothers that have been through this. "

" My daughter was 2 when diagnosed. I know what you are going through. She is 25 now - i opted for no meds, just an altered diet. Timing was everything as I saw a show with Geraldo Rivera and the FDA on this topic that was frightening! I am convinced it stems from the hormones we eat. The drug at the time (nasal spray) was experimental and I was advised by an old family Dr. who consulted with collegues in NYC NOT to take them - the change in diet worked. It was 4 yrs of heartbrake with monthly hospital visits but I thank God for the decision I made. Be strong, have a good support group and you will get through it. "
